Al scrambling on the rough stuff ! |
The sun shines on at the moment with the West being best which is not something you can say everyday but at the moment it is very much the case. I was out with Al again today and we headed over to the Isle of skye where blue skies waited for us, we had a slight delay and detour which meant a lunchtime arrival so we headed into the Cioch area in Coire Laggan for some easier scrambling pitches and a look at some mountaineering ropework.
Plenty of people out either walking in and out of the Coire for fine views and various people climbing on the Inn Pinn and also some folk out on what looked like Trophy Crack which is a great climb which I remember doing with Abacus Mike a few years ago although I never found his wires today which I dropped off the Cioch last time!!
Back to base for us and a little pack and prep time to get ready for a trip away over the coming week. Hope fully this weather will stay as it will soon be the Mull season which is traditionally all suncream and flip flops !
