A quick note to pass on the link that you can see an article in the Oban times on Steve Thomas co founder with Andy Spink of Hebridean pursuits and the Roses Project which has helped 10'000 young people and young adults go on adventurous outdoor pursuits courses. Steve has retired from HPL but at 76 has no intentions of hanging is boots up yet. I would have met Steve when I was young on one of the many Eagle's ski mountaineering club meets. I seem to remember catching the overnight train after school often take the ski's for a long walk, this isn't the first poor winter !
