Grand Montets, Chamonix

Le Grand Montet and Victoria in the fore ! 

We headed to the Grand Montets today for the afternoon to see what was going on. There is a need for more snow although there was some good skiing under the glacier to the left of the Bochard although there were plenty of obstacles in the form of rocks and the main piste's where very icy. The day clouded over but as yet no fresh, but who cares for a few hours as its time to eat drink and be merry as its Christmas !
