Al and I where out today for a winter refresh and headed into the Northern Corries.
Its certainly whiter than it has been but still not much in the way of build up. The mixed routes where looking good and teams where out on quite a few lines and some where in Spiral and the Runnel. Other easier gully's such as Aladdins and Jacobs are still without snow. The plateau and goat track are still looking rocky and scoured but there is a ice building all over.
It was 'world snow day' on the ski hill which did have a certain irony to it but its open giving skiing on the upper runs from the gunbarrel up.
It looks to be a mixed week with some strong winds and also some milder weather creeping in mid week although things should start to drop again as a high pressure builds.
