Well its a wrap for me in the Alps filming wise now begins the daunting task of getting it all in order and bringing it towards production and editing.
Rob, Gary and me headed through the tunnel yesterday and into Italy where we got the lift from La Palud up to the Torino hut and carried out a wide variety of shots around the head of the valley blanche and on ground above the Val d Aosta. The weather held out and has been great throughout the trip. We spent the night in the Torino hut which sits in a precarious setting, sitting along side and giving great views of the longest route in the Alps the Peutry Intergral on Monte Biancho. They are installing a new lift system which makes it feel a bit like a building area but none the less a nice hut with good food and 294 steep steps to get into it ! We where out and about at 4 and caught a great sunrise before heading back down in the clag.
