Etive Mountains

Al on Sgor nah Ulaidh

Beinn Fhionnlaidh in the Etive hills 

I was out with Al today. We headed into the Etive hills and onto Sgor na Ulaidh. It was a bright day although quite a few snow showers passed through as the day went on. We chatted about various avalanche things as we went, there where plenty of pockets of slab across the hill although easily identified. Scoops and dips all held various depths of slab after the recent high winds vigilance is required. There was ice all over driving through Glen Coe the waterfalls coming down from Coire nam Beith where very eye catching.
