Last day with the Pauls today and after a few days of mountaineering the plan was to try some ice for the last day and enjoy some whacking. We headed into the Ben with the weather still fine although a change and it was lacking the overnight cold and instead was replaced with a blanket of cloud warming things up. The Ben was pretty damp compared to the last few days. But no problem we arrived at the hut and headed round to the cascades where the majority where looking to wet but got up some ice at the right end before heading back to under to the Gulch area where there was plenty to look at some footwork, anchors and some good stretches to climb on. A good week had by all and in some brilliant weather !
